Book Online - FAQ's
Here are answers to some common questions asked by customers using our website and online booking service. If you have any further questions, please call or contact us using the 'Leave a Message' menu.
Please note that you cannot currently book online using an iPad, however we are hoping to rectify this as soon as possible.
The Elgiva has been designed and written to be XHTML 1.0 compliant and should be useable with the following Internet Browsers.
PC : IE6+, Firefox 3+, Safari 4+, Google Chrome, Opera 9+
Apple : Firefox 3+, Safari 4+, Google Chrome, Opera 9+
Please note that our Online Booking system currently has an issue with the Safari Browser on Apple machines. We are looking into this but for the time being recommend using the Firefox browser on Apple machines. Click Here to get Firefox
Users of mobile devices should find it is possible to navigate our site although the online booking process will be unavailable.
On the whole we have tried to keep our site as accessible as possible by not using browser plugins. The bulk of the website does not require the use of any plugins, however, our online 'What's On' catalogue and our online booking process will be unavailable without the Adobe Flash plugin being installed.

Yes, an account is required to allow online bookings to be made.
Click the 'My Account' menu item on our main site to be taken to our online bookings site then select login. On this page there is an option to allow a forgotten password to be emailed to the account which was used during setup.
Yes. You will notice when you click the 'Book Now' button on any of our shows that a new Browser window opens with the ticket booking information. After selecting your tickets, you can navigate back to our main site and continue browsing, selecting other shows will automatically add them to your basket.
Tickets booked online are available for collection at the Elgiva Boxoffice immediately after purchase. During the ticket ordering process you will be provided with a conformation number and barcode. Please bring these with you as it helps us to find your tickets !
Are you using the Safari browser on an Apple machine ? If so, Our online booking system currently has an issue which we are looking into. For the time being, please see question 1 above for a link to the Firefox browser which does work correctly with our Online Bookings.
